Nick Burris outlasted a strong field of 273 entries to win the Horseshoe Council Bluffs $1,700 Main Event. The event happened on 8th April at Horseshoe Council Bluffs Casino in Council Bluffs, Lowa.
On the final table, the 42-year-old Council Bluffs Casino regular beat five-time WSOPC ring winner and one-time WSOP bracelet winner Blair Hinkle Ross heads-up to take home the top prize of $99,267and his 2nd WSOPC Ring. Hinkle had to content himself with $61,344 for his 2nd place finish.
