Patrick Antonius takes down €10,200 Championship Event title at PAPC for €78,100
Patrick Antonius has captured the PAPC (Patrick Antonius Poker Challenge) €10,200 Championship Event title by beating a field of 20 entries to earn €78,100 top prize. The tournament series is created by Patrick himself to promote his social media app called FLOP (First Land of Poker). Indian poker player Rahul Byrraju finished at 4th position for €20,102.
Antonius entered the heads-up match with a 2:1 chip lead over Joni Jouhkimainen. On the final hand, Antonius shoved all his chips with Qd Qs. Jouhkimainen called the bet with Kc and Kd. The board ran 3c Qc 6s Js Ac which helped Antonius complete his three-of-a-kind. Jouhkimainen received €51,550 for his runner-up finish.
In Finland’s all-time money list, Antonius is at the No.1 position. "It's always a very good feeling to win a tournament," Antonius said after the win.
