The 2019 EPT Monte Carlo €100,000 ($112,000) Super High Roller Event wrapped up on Monday.
Spanish poker player Sergio Aio overcame a field of 52 entries to grab the title and the massive €1,589,190 ($1,772,393) €77,580 first place prize.
He defeated player Jesus Cortes heads-up to win the pot and the coveted title. Cortes earned €1,147,750 ($1,285,480) for his second-place finish.
This is the biggest live poker score of Aido’s career. This win elevated his lifetime poker earnings to more than $10.3 million.
